A compilation of short stories about interesting things that have happened during war time. Each story is a page and a half or so long with other correlated tidbits. I found it interesting, giving me ideas of more in-depth dives into history that I would like to make.
The ”never told” stories are actually extremely well known ones (Boadicea, Chrismas Truce, Enigma etc.), presented here for the extra-dummies and ridiculously simplified, turned into dumb ”wow” snippets...
Good maybe for elementary school children.
