For Love or Legacy

I didn't care for Stephen at the end of book 1. And he only got worse and worse in his own book. I didn't really like Nicole all that much either. This relationship was a mess. And it turns to have been one huge misunderstanding and people refusing to talk to each other. And everyone being a big, immature brat and trying to blame their terrible life choices on the choices of their parents. It was too much. I skimmed a lot of it because I didn't really care so much about the romance between Nicole and Stephen. I was more invested in Nicole and Dominic making up. And Dominic and Stephan burying the hatchet that never should have been there. The most exciting part of the book was the end when they all made plans to try to hook up Lil and show more Jake. I'm also too curious to see how these Corisi's tie in with the newest ones, the books I started reading before these and actually like a lot more than these. show less

This book was a good quick read. To me, it feels very fast-paced and competitive. Two men are very obsessed with winning and considering the circumstances, I can understand why. BUT...things are not always what they seem...

I like the chemistry between Nicole and Stephan. It's there. It's all there. (Special note: As a contemporary romance, you will find sex in this book, but it's not the saturating kind. If you're looking for a clean read, this isn't for you.)

Adore it!!

I so adore this book!! In typical Cardello fashion the characters are solid, the story intriguing and the romance high. This book picks up right where book 1 left off. Even a slight overlap. Absolutely fantastic series that everyone should read.
