Brother and sister, Ben and Sophia, have to leave their hometown when they see their neighbors turn into flesh eating zombies. No one is really sure about the cause of the outbreak, but the siblings' mother had warned them that a trial was coming. Their friend, Patrick, has been turned as well. However, he introduces the world to a new kind of undead species. The people that are exposed to the disease and refuse the urge to chow down on a human being, become a different breed of zombies. Suffrages are the "vegetarians" in the zombie world. Ben and Sophia have to help Patrick find his brother and they have to travel across the country to do so. It's the strangest family road trip they've ever been on as there is no happy destination, only survival!
