This book was first published 15 years ago and was re-released in 2005 but the absence of mobile phones in the hands of these teenagers really dates the book.
Basically it is one of a collection Stine wrote that are centered around a street called Fear Street where at least one of the characters in the novel lives. This is the story of a two girls Delia and Karina who are always competing and are currently dating the same boy without the other knowing until something terrible happens. I found the main character's obsession with her looks ( she is always applying lipstick and checking herself out in the mirror) meant that I couldn't really warm to her and when she proves to the police that she isn't a murderer because of the reverse show more lipstick print, well that just lost it for me completely ; I mean she's such an airhead and yet she's smarter than the police force! Oh please! Drivel and not worth the paper it's printed on - no wonder the book was free! show less
It was a great book with a twist.I personally love R.L. Stine books he is such a good writer especially with horror for children
This book is about a boy, Vincent, and two girls, Delia and Katrina. Both girls have problems throughout the story, but Vincent is the one causeing all of them. Good book for romance or drama readers. There are a few dislikes about the character Kartina, but overall it's a very good book.

VIncent was going out with Karina and Delia. When Karina found out she declared revenge. She choked Delia and tried to kill her so then things started to happen to Delia but the thing was she was doing them to herself but she wanted people to think it was Karina. Then someone killed Vincent. People thought Karina did it....did she??? or was it Delia. -DH
its excellent how the writer changed the story and how he ended it
