Hermie and his best friend, Wormie wonder why God - their close friend and Creator - chose to make them so common. After all, every other creature they encounter boasts something bold or beautiful that makes them unique. But Hermie and Wormie wriggle under the weight of comparison - coming up short every time. But then comes the miracle. With an amazing transformation, they both learn the truth behind God's impeccable timing. And purpose. And love.
This book is a fantasy that shows the journey of a young, common caterpillar to the most beautiful butterfly because God made him special. Hermie was a great character that goes through a big change! The author really shows how Hermie grows and is a very lovable character overall. He is the dynamic protagonist of this story.
This is an adorable story about God's love for us, about us not always knowing what God is doing, but trusting that it is something good for us.
