The battle between Goku and Freeza finally commences. This is what I've been waiting for! I'm so astounded at how fast yet slow this series has gone by. I loved the action like always. I'm happy to have Piccolo around. I was surprised at a death in this one. I just the gang was all here.

Akira Toriyama is a Manga artist and video game designer and writer, born in 1955, and based in Japan. He became popular in 1980 with his work Dr. Slump. From 1984-1995, his series Dragon Ball ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It became popular in the U.S. published as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
