( ) Tags: Biography, Aviation, History Summary: While all types of aviation holds a large and special spot in my heart, the Wright Brothers especially do for what they accomplished and provided for the entire world to use. Persoanl Reaction: My kids never got to grow up around me being in the Army as I was hurt and medically retired before they were born. So it hurts they don't get to experience how much the Army is apart of my life as they are to me as well. What the Wright Brothers do for all of mankind to use once they had the first logged flight of aerial aviation is something no one will ever be able to copy or do again. Extension Ideas: Allow students to bring in their favorite model toy airplane to share with the class and the teach look up that airplane to tell the students who first flew that particular airframe.
