READ IN ENGLISH

I'm a fan of the BBC sketch show Horrible Histories, and I also have an interest in ancient Greek and Roman culture. So this book is something I would really like to read.

And it's very nice to read. Of course is it a children's book, but it is still nice and there are still some thing in it I didn't know. It focusses more on the weird / gore (but still OK for a seven-year-old) details of history. The passages are short, and there are a lot of comics drawn next to the text. I'm quite sure I would have loved to have these books around when I was a kid.
I am a HUGE fan of the Greeks, so this was certainly a great add to the Great Wall of Greeks. I thought the text was very easy to understand, but still was better than any old history textbook!

I have the big box of Horrible History, so this was one out of many!
Many puns, like on the title: the Greek Soldier wielding a spear is saying, "Troy Story". Little bits like that. Puns that stick in your mind!
Funnier than Rotten Romans. Very interesting, funny with hilarious illustrations.
See comments, so disappointing.
