Eggheads

Exhilarating. Love and lust, psychology and memes, aliens and secret identities - a smorgasbord of ideas & adventures that somehow works together quite engagingly & rationally. It's not my type of novel, but I know lots of reviewers who would probably rate it higher. If you're not gettting into at first, don't give up, just set it aside for a day or two until you're in a different frame of mind and can also read for a longer chunk of time with fewer distractions. Science fiction can be fun again, just like in the Golden Age.
