This question has been answered. Anna Anderson was not the Grand Duchess Anastasia. It is not a particularly detailed book. The information is dated, and Anastasia would never have been Czarina. As the daughter of a reigning Tsar she would at best ever be a grand duchess, as Russian law prevented a female from ascending the throne in her own right. Only the Tsar could rule, and his wife's title would be Tsarista rather than Tsarina. Having fathered multiple girls there was always speculation that perhaps one of the daughters survived Yekaterinburg, but the location of two skeletons that matched dna with the previously found Imperial remains closed that debate with the simple fact that they were all killed. This would be a title that I show more would recommend being removed from a school library shelf as is only presents misinformation as it was published before any of the bodies were found, and is based upon speculation rather than fact. show less
