A Finish private investigator mystery, first in a long series to be translated into English. Our hero wants to find out why a policeman and his ex-girlfriend were murdered, a crime that holds a strange interest for the local organized crime gang. There is more than a touch of the American PI in the affable hero, who has a retro tendency to drink too much, sleep around, and crack wise, but the plot is quite involved and gives readers a tour of the port city of Turku and nearby islands.
