This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I really liked Kevin Connor and his somewhat inane entourage. I hope there is going to be more to follow this one. The reader's credulity might be stretched a little by Kevin's and his mother's investigative techniques or the necessity for them to have to have to investigate at all, but it is still a good story. The entire storyline might have been a bit more satisfying if we had learned a little more about what eventually happened to the various victims and culprits, but I guess we can accept that the good guys prevailed.
I loved this series , it was fun, sexy and thoroughly enjoyable. Kevin is a warn, funny, kind, smart, really good guy. His friends and family are crazy and lovable and irritating the way family and friends should be. I cared about all of them, which is what makes a great book for me - characters I connect with and care about. This series had it in spades!, and a happy ending that made mr cry. I couldn't ask for better. Read it.
Loved it! It waffled a bit in parts and there wasn't nearly as much Tony/Kevin as I would have liked, but Rafi was adorable, the story was interesting, the hot boys were numerous, and the ending made me laugh and cry.

Kevin is back! The little and o so cute hustler from the first two books has stopped getting money for sex and works for the tv-show of his mum because he wants to settle down to share a life with macho policeman Tony and his son. That sounds nice but is the biggest flaw of the book because the juicy parts of the story are mainly reminiscences to a past long gone. And the new detective plot - a missing porn actor who looks a bit like Kevin - doesn't take off. There are a lot of sidelines that are supposed to be funny but they just show that Sheman apparently didn't know what to write.
And when the detective story finally gets going, it's to late to make it a nice read. And the overly sweet happy-end is a whee bit to much. Not believable show more and not convincing. What a shame because the basic idea of the book could have been used much better. show less

A saucy chatty gay mystery, with some serious moments. Great happy ending which came as surprise.
