A slightly different feeling than I get from reading Moomin. Less melancholy. The spare pictures are delightful. My 10 y.o. liked finding the little unexplained critters who populate some of the panels. I loved reading this. ( )

I never read Moomin growing up, so I don't think I have the emotional connection to it that a lot of people do. That being said, I thought this was an amusing and charming read, and I would like to read more. ( )

A cute series about a Moomin (who lookslike a hippo) and his friends and family, but I didn't like it enough to try and finish out the series. ( )
