This is an informational book done in ink and wash. This book explores Yellowstone through the alphabet. Each page begins with a letter and "..is for..." (ex. B is for BISON) and explains something having to do with that letter that can be found in Yellowstone National Park. Some pages have a short bit about whatever animal, geographical feature, etc. on that page, but others go into great depth with factual information about that thing. The book includes historical bits, information about various animals and wildlife that can be found in the park, and the different parts of the park, including visitor centers to landforms.
This book is a good example of informational because not only does it include factual information, it is written show more by credible author's who work for the National Parks.
This book could be used in a study about the National Parks.
This book could be used in a study of geology and nature/animals in America.
