A nice glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of one girl's journey playing Clara in The Nutcracker. This book would be great for aspiring ballet dancers or to share with kids about to go see the show. It would have been strengthened by some back matter (a glossary of ballet terms, a list of books for further reading).

The first-person story of a ballerina who plays Clara in the Boston Ballet Nutcracker. Her older and younger sisters are also dancers. There are lots of good photos of the dancers and costumes.
