Grosser Bahnhof um die Bahnhöfe: Es ist schon erstaunlich, dass eine relativ kleine Stadt wie Basel heute über sechs Bahnhöfe verfügt: den Centralbahnhof SBB, den französischen Bahnhof und den Badischen Bahnhof sowie die Bahnhöfe St. Johann, Dreispitz und St. Jakob.
Preisgekrönt: Basel-Dreispitz: Offiziell heisst er eigentlich 'S-Bahn-Haltestelle Dreispitz', der kleine Bahnhof, der von der Linie 3 der Regio S-Bahn bedient wird.
Vom Geisterbahnhof zum Kreativpool: Während langer Zeit galt der Bahnhof St. Johann als 'Geisterbahnhof'.
Deutsches Hoheitsgebiet: Noch heute wird der Badische Bahnhof vollumfänglich von der Deutschen Bahn betrieben; im Personenverkehr von und nach Deutschland wird er wie ein innerdeutscher Bahnhof behandelt.
Warten, drängeln, schwatzen, essen, trinken, staunen: In Stosszeiten wirkt der Bahnhof SBB am Centralbahnplatz wie ein Ameisenhaufen.
