This is a super sweet little romance story that I thought was quite cute. When regular school girl, Akari, accidentally slams her backpack into a cute boy at first she doesn't realize how much damage a heavy dictionary can cause. When Akari discovers the boy she inadvertently assaulted is a famous kabuki actor with a reputation for being harsh she readily offers to act as his assistant. As she gets to know Ryusei better she learns his gruff exterior is a true case of shy anti-socialness. The only exceptions to this rule are his cat, Mr. Ken, and now Akari herself.
I guess if you were looking to find a little depth to the story you could say this is a tale about how we perceive the people around us and how they perceive us, but really it show more is just as easy to take this as a fluffy little tale with three endearing leads in Akari, Ryusei and Mr. Ken.
Very nice, appealing artwork rounds out the story well and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to girls who love sweet romance with a touch of comedy. show less
