(this book has M/M and M/F/M, BDSM and an intense look at a women that struggles with an eating disorder)

We met Roarke in Her Old-Fashioned Husband. He was the brother of Tom's best friend that had died. Roarke has always felt guilty for his brother's death and lost his relationship with his parents in the guilt. He own's many BDSM clubs and is a fierce Dom. He met and fell in love with Sam who is his live in sub. They have been together 5 years but Sam feels something is missing and tells Roarke. They both agree that what's missing is a woman - that they want to bring in a 3rd into there relationship.

When they start interviewing applicants for a personal assistant for Roarke they met Ava Scott. They know right away she is the one but they can also see she comes with a lot of baggage.

Ava has struggled with self image issues and an eating disorder since she was 14. She has a set of really good friends that knew of her issues but she hides from them that she has slipped back into old habits. She also keeps this secret from Roarke and Sam even though they can both tell she has some weird habits when it comes to food.

It doesn't take Ava long to fall in love with Roarke and Sam and she is basking in the way they both cherish her but she feels that once she tells them the truth they will think she is to much trouble. Once she does confide in them, Roarke (god I love that man) tells her
that loving someone does not mean that you only want to be with them in the good times. Loving someone means accepting all of them, being there always

Roarke realizes that Ava needs the discipline and structure that comes with being a sub and that it takes her out of her destructive eating order thoughts. Sam and Roarke were so patient and loving with her but still both very strong in there disciplining of her when she needs it.

There is also closure at the end with Roarke and his parents - this was a pleasant surprise and I am glad he finally got that closure so he could move forward with his life with Sam and Ava. ( )
