An interesting look at the various ways people make each other's lives difficult. Yes it's quite generalised and simplistic in parts (and sometimes the "I know famous people" authorial stance is a little wearing). However I found it an interesting read and well worth a look over.

It would be most useful to people writing interesting villans in stories. Some of the ways in which people annoy others were good and also the idea of one person's villan being another persons friend was also an interesting point, particularly for writers.

Overall, amusing but very general, probably most useful for writers.
Toxic People by Dr. Glass discusses the effects these dangerous individuals can have on our lives, what types of toxic people there are, and how best to handle them.

I was shocked by how many people I could identify in my life (both individuals I had known in the past as well as the present) that were toxic to me. The techniques described in this book have been helpful in dealing with them as well-although I cannot promise success for everyone that uses them, I think you can read this book and walk away with an excellent idea of what to do and how to handle the situation/individual.

Dr. Glass mentions have to unplug these people from your life as well (which can be difficult when you are unplugging family, a spouse or a lover from your show more life).

Ultimately, it is up to YOU to decide if you want to deal with having this person in your life or not-and if you choose to, you are given the knowledge to deal with them. Reading this book made me feel empowered, as though I could tackle any toxic person in my life.

Started strong, but I lost interest at page 266.
The description of Toxic people made me depressed, so I had to set this one aside. I do hope to read how to deal with some characters in our life who are not well balanced and causing us mega-headaches.
