I bought this as a guide to personal scrapbooking--the "me" in the title. The layouts were certainly inspiring, but enough of the ideas were actually scrapping about personal thoughts about other people--parents, siblings, husbands, and children. Almost every scrapbooking book out there is already all about kids; if you're looking for something different, this one will disappoint. Enough of the book is of use to a more general audience to make it worthwhile. I did like the fact that most of the layouts had journaling as an equal or greater component of the layout to the pictures.
