The Rookie Club is a well written, well researched, very fast-paced novel. It was my first experience with author Danielle Girard. I find her writing style to be similar to Lisa Gardner, who is one of my favorite authors. There are some pretty violent acts towards women in the book, so readers who is a little more sensitive, beware.
I enjoyed this book. I felt like I needed a score card to keep the huge cast of characters straight. Plus there are loose ends not taken care of, like the murder/suicide talked about a lot through out the book.
