It begins with Mr. Rogers' personal story about his adopted sister. The book deals with the emotional highs and lows of adoption, the need for family, and the many, many ways we interact with family. Wonderful photos of real adoption families throughout.

This book is a book about belonging to a family wither born into or adopted. It talks about different things a family does. It also talks about how belonging to a family makes you feel.
Mr rogers help children understand about families and the feelings a child can feel being adopted and that its ok, there are many different kinds of families with adopted children but they are still family.
