This is a perfectly written rendition of Tolstoy's masterpiece "Where Love is, God is". It tells the story of Martin the Shoemaker who's deepest wish is to meet Jesus. When Jesus visits him in a dream and promises him that this will happen the next day, Martin awaits anxiously and excitedly for him. During his wait he's interrupted by 3 different visitors, all whom he serves. Could one of them be the one Martin's been waiting to meet?
Critique:
This is a good example of a realistic fiction because it speaks of a man who helps people he sees in the cold, which is very realistic. It could be set in the past, however I believe that it could also just be in a small village in th epresent.
