This book was an interesting take on the story of Sleeping Beauty, because it focused on her children while managing to weave some of the story we are familiar with into the next generation of fairy tale characters.

The plot moved along at a nice pace and the adventure the girls went on was quite exciting. I can't help but feel that something was missing from this book, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

However, this book was a competent and enjoyable re-imagining of a classic story.
Perfect for at 10-year-old--- which I'm not.
