The is a great story of quiet sounds. I admire how [[Véronique Olmi]] describes the feelings of the protagonists (mother and son) very strong and yet with great feeling. Liouba Popov is no thirty years old and mother of twelve year old Enzo. She is a housekeeper in a posh Parisian household and her only concern is her son and his education. Enzo, who goes to a reputable grammer school is bold and is bullied at this school only. He wants to leave this school and at the same time he does not want disappoint his mother. At the same time he would like to know where he and his mother comes. But this she refused all information because she will spare Enzo against their own past. As a reader, one learns mother and son desires and thoughts, show more only those two know nothing of each other. show less
