Big Nate in the zone is a book following the protagonist Nate and a stroke of good luck. The book starts out with Nate having bad luck. The principal is yelling at him and his friend accidentally destroys his history outline which was his last grade for the quarter. He then gets in trouble with the librarian and gets embarrassed in front of the entire school. His other friend Chad gives him a good luck charm and all of a sudden his luck turns around. He suddenly becomes a "trendsetter" when he just draws on his sneakers and his dad wasn't mad that he got a D in social studies. He gives his good luck charm back to Chad and instantly he is met with bad news the next day.His rival Gina is the team picker for field day.He gets paired with a bad show more team and loses every single event. Then the three legged race comes along. He wants his friend Chad to do it with a girl Chad likes named Maya. They win the three legged race. The book ends with Nate's Band,Enslave the mollusk playing in front of the school and instead of looking like idiots the school applauds them.

In my opinion BIG Nate is a great book. The characters are down to earth and aren't movie characters where everything goes the way and we all sing Hakuna matata. The plot in my opinion is good because I know I've had a stroke of good luck as well (granted that it all came crashing down). The character Nate is really funny. You know for a fact that the book points out who to root for.In my opinion it's a great book.It was a nice climax and ending

Here is my review of this book. I think big Nate in the zone was an overall decent book but could use improvements. The overall pacing was pretty good, alongside pretty great illustrations. Though, being a children's book makes it lack complex vocabulary. I believe the book is pretty charming though with Nate being the main focus of the book and him overcoming his "bad luck" he had at the beginning of the story, that made him feel a little down.
Mid-story, Chad helps a decent amount by lending him a lucky charm which seemingly boosted his luck by a lot. From there Nate started picking back up feeling much more lucky and gambling with some things such as taking a basketball shot, which he is famous for missing. He even gained the show more attention of the most popular kid in his school, Marcus which further boosted his morale. Overall this book was a fun one to read and adequate to say a little bit. I could say I enjoyed it even. show less
Nate starts with having bad luck the whole week. He was yelled at, his report was destroyed, his band was ruined, and they were made fun of by the coolest guy in school. His dad was also mad at Nate for getting a D in social studies. It wasn't until his best friend, Chad, had given him his "lucky foot", that he had good luck. At that period of time, Nate's luck completely turned around. He even was a trendsetter. When Chad was feeling down, Nate gave him back his lucky foot, which was immediately taken by a teacher. Later, that day, on Field Day, Nate made a bet about 6th grade getting at least one win against seventh grade. Every track was lost until the last game, where Chad and his crush, Maya, won against two seventh grade students show more at a three-legged race. The story ended with Nate's band played one final song, and everyone cheered.
I gave Big Nate: In the Zone a five out of five because I really loved it. The book was very funny and very entertaining. I really liked how the story was played out. The bests part were the good luck streaks. They were bizarre as they were funny. reading Big Nate books are the best. This book deserves more views and likes.

[Big Nate:In the Zone] by [Lincoln Peirce] is a great book because it was hilarious and very entertaining and I think it is one of the best book that I read.Honestly,I will recommend you to read this amazing book. The main character Nate is always late to go to school and is not a really good student. On the other hand,His best friend Francis is always organised and is just the opposite of Nate.Teddy is just like Nate but just slightly smarter and more organised that Nate.
