Loading... Walt Disney's Dumbo (A Little Golden Book)by RH Disney
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() This is one of my favorite children's books because unfortunately we live in a society were people constantly bully others. This is a great book for young readers to understand that just because someone looks different then us or looks different, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them or that we should make fun of them. I also love that the story follows the young soul of an elephant that ends up being the main character of the circus. This book also includes amazing pictures that help readers understand where the setting is taking place, what is going on, and how the characters are feeling. For example, when the older elephants are making fun of Dumbo, he clearly has a sad face and tries to cover himself up with his ears. The author also makes it clear that he is upset by having the mouse come acknowledge him and show him ways that he is amazing. no reviews | add a review
