I came to live in Felpham, three miles from Bognor, aged three, in 1939 -- just the date at which this fascinating history of Bognor ends. I found such nostaglia in reading the book, learning what preceded my own experience of childhood in Bognor, and recognizing some names! Pleased to find Dazzle and the Roof Garden Theatre there, and even the names of some actors. Such an amazing amount of detailed information gathered in these 308 pages, with many photographs and a really full index.
