This wonderful biography about Nelson Mandela is written in an easy spelling style but nonetheless very informative. It doesn't put Nelson Mandela as a hero without mistakes. It shows his life with all his failure as well his strength, what he has gained not only for the people of South Africa but also personally. This is a book which should be in each school libraries and it would be suitable for the secondary school.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had known the name Nelson Mandela and what he represented, but didn't know anything about the man. This was an exceptionally written account of his life. It is easy to read and follow and could be used as a good resource tool in schools.

I received this book in return for a review
This is the second book I've read in the biography series, and again, was disappointed. (See my review of the Johnny Depp biography in the same series).
It gives only a very brief account of Mandela’s life and political activism in the first half of this book (58% according to kindle), the rest of the book is taken up with the promotion of the other biographies in this series.
You would be better off looking up Nelson Mandela in a search engine, you would get a better, and up to date result.
I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

A perfect mini biography for one of the most important faces of 20 century who was fight for equal civil rights in South Africa in the past century. This man was inspiration for all of us and surely he was a great person. Highly recommended

The biography series of Nelson Mandela is a 35 page accurate picture of him. It would be a great book for kids to use in a report at school. The book discusses his family, schooling, politics, and his health. Nelson Mandela had 26 years behind bars doing hard labor that really affected his health and family life. When he was finally released he became president in 1994 and after a few years resigned due to his age and health. Mandela dropped out of the public spotlight after he resigned. Overall it is a good short book, for basic information
