Lee and Gideon are living together in Dark, and, at first, this seems to be a very rare and very lovely story about a gay couple finding their way into their relationship, struggling with family and work promotions. But 'ordinary life' is never a long-lasted state for these two.

This time it's Gideon who breaks the calm: he goes and gets himself stabbed. And, of course, stranger things begun to happen. We learn more about Lee's pasts, and some events become even more intriguing.

I love how the author can submerge us in the setting, how easily we can lose ourselves in the story... Nothing seems forced, and even when in the midst of paranormal happenings everything seems almost rational in a very surreal way.

So, yes, I keep enjoying this show more series and can't wait to begin with the next one. show less
Decent story built around Gideon's brush with death and anxiety about losing his career, which meshes nicely with a Lee-centered supernatural plot. The biggest problem with these novellas really seems to be that everyone is so good-hearted.
This is a great series - so atmospheric. I love the MCs' relationship development and the paranormal aspect which is so well handled without being OTT.

Narrated by Tim Gilbert - 5 stars.
The intense sweetness between Lee and Gideon, challenged by Lee's gift and Gid's bullheadedness as well as the roadblocks and surprises from the people around them, are as fresh and delightful in this third novel as they were in the first one. If you love paranormal romance and English country- and townspeople, if you admire tenacity and humor and genuine kindness, read this series. I already own #4 and will be starting it shortly. :)
I really liked this one, I love how the location of Harper Fox's stories are as much a charactor as the story leads. Cornwall is as important to this story, as alive and involved as Lee and Gideon.

This is the 3rd tale in this series, I hope it isn't the last.
So good. That gave me all the feels. A sense of something out there that carried over from the previous book. Gideon's frustrations. The reawakening of a relationship between brothers. The obvious love of Gideon and Lee.
