This story made me cry- but brought hope, as well as a sick pet dog named Sally falls asleep one day and wakes up in heaven. This story explores the concept of death and shares how heaven may be like for Sally; she no longer is in pain, the animals all get along, etc. This book could be very useful when aiding a child who is coping with a death of a pet.
