The Beetle Alphabet Book

I like how 'not a beetle' critters occasionally interrupt the alphabet - negative example are *very* effective educationally. This is simply told, and will be as fascinating to the tots, for the pictures, and the adults, for the science, as to the early elementary target audience.

This is a perfect alphabet book for older students, because the information on beetles is quite detailed, with stunning illustrations. My students especially enjoy the few pages interspersed that are not about beetles, but that interact directly with the reader and add a lightness and humor to the book. Perfect for read-alouds, book walks, and research!

Great book! Keeps the students engaged with learning about different bugs and parts of bugs, Has so much information in it that can be used. Also entertaining for adults because of the Beatles references.

This book goes into sharing about the diversity of different beetles. This would be a good book to read to the class when discussing insects and bugs. The book has great illustrations of what different kinds of beetles look like, as well as, very detailed information about each beetle. I would definitely read this book in my classroom to bring more focus and detail in the area of insects and bugs. This would also be a great book for students to receive information if they were ever to write a paper on beetles.

This book goes through different names for beetles. There are a great number of beetles out there that we don't know about and this is a fun way to learn more about insects and the alphabet.

This is a fun book to teach children about bugs and they can learn the alphabet at the same time. their are amazing colorful pages that will keep kids entertained.

Not only does this book teach children about the different types of beetles there are but also helps the reader become more familar with the alphabet.
