Bear and Bird

A nice tale about an odd friendship paring. I would love to read this cute book to my class.

This is a fantasy book because it talks about how a little garbage truck named buster is trying to be like his daddy. His dad invites him to work and buster tries to be just like him. The more practice he puts into working the garbage truck the better he gets at it. I could use this book to talk about "bring your child to work day" and how some students might get the chance to see what their parents do for work if they bring them to their jobs. I could also just this to discuss the importance of practice and how you have to work on things in order to get better at them. The media used in this book is acrylic and ink.

This book is about friendship and how even if you are different you can still be good friends.
