Description

In this adventure, Annabeth encounters more oddities in the subway than usual, including a two-headed monster and a younger blond girl who reminds her a little of herself. This is the story fans have asked for, in which Annabeth Chase teams up with Sadie Kane. The demigod daughter of Athena and the young magician from Brooklyn House take on a larger-than-life foe from the ancient world. Perhaps even more disturbing than the power-hungry god they encounter is the revelation that he is being show more controlled by someone-someone all too familiar to Sadie. The audio narration was recorded by Rick Riordan himself. As a special bonus, the first chapter of THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS, the final book in the Heroes of Olympus series, is included. show less

Oh My!!!!! Dare is say gods(s)

Longer then [b:The Son of Sobek|17312201|The Son of Sobek (Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover, #1)|Rick Riordan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1367948073s/17312201.jpg|23976459] (You can check out my Review Here) this little short of pure awesomeness was an action packed thrill ride right from the first page. (My feels are ready to skydive) I think I had it read in like 10 minutes; not that is fast or anything. This short was only 60 pages; but still, I devoured it like cheesecake. (Double chocolate Cheesecake)

I loved how easy Annabeth and Sadie just, clicked. It was like they fought evil gods on a daily bases.

We have not seen the end of the asshat that is Setne. Looks like he wants to be a god, show more well, that's just means ... more books!

I can't wait for the next installment. All of them are going to meet (Percy, Carter, Annabeth and Sadie - maybe more?), and fight this new evil force that wants to you know, either, take over the world, or destroy it.

Why do evil things want to destroy the world? I mean, they wouldn't be able to taste victory if no one is left to see it. If a tree falls in the woods... you get what I'm saying.

In all, I can't wait; more Carte and Sadie, and more of my fav couple in the world. Percy/Annabeth. !!!!! >.Insert fangirl scream :o _______)

Cheers

I liked this novella a lot. I liked it a lot better than the one with Carter and Percy. I'm not sure if that's because of the monster in this one or if I just connect with Annabeth and Sadie better. Still, an entertaining story that is full of the humor you would expect from Riordin. I would recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.
Not as fun/funny as Percy and Carter's crossover. Sadie's trademarked humor is starkly lessened in this - I guess to balance her out with Annabeth's wisdom and studiousness? It was a slog to get through, though I'm still looking forward to the culmination.

3.5 better than the first, I like Sadie's wit, but still too short
this book was more than the first book. Anyway i enjoyed it much more than the son of Sobek. Can't wait for the sneak peek of 'blood of olympus'. Nice work Rick
