David Solomons was born in Glasgow in 1969. He is a screenwriter. His first feature film was an adaptation of 'Five Children and It.' He is also an author. His first novel for children was My Brother is a Superhero. It was the winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the 2016 British Book Industry Awards Children's Book of the Year.
