Troll Mountain is a fun little read from Matthew Reilly, one of my favorite authors. Much of his work is highly action-packed, but lacks any sense of realism (which is OK if you're able to suspend belief and just enjoy the ride). Troll Mountain is a short story about young Raf, who goes to Troll Mountain to find a elixir to the disease inflicting his people. This is a good book for readers of all ages as some of the themes (questioning authority, being true to yourself, courage, etc.) are timeless. ( )
