Book description
Capricious is a biannual publication dedicated to showcasing emerging fine art photography. the magazine is comprised almost entirely of images; it has very little text and the pages are perforated to encourage the pinning up of its contents. Capricious collaborates with a guest editor and chooses a new theme for each edition.
Capricious #9 shifts its focus to the burgeoning contemporary art scene of Mexico. Over the last decade, the colorful and edgy creative currents there are having a transformative effect. Guiding us through the influences of this thriving scene, is Guest Editor Pamela Echeverría, current director of contemporary art gallery Proyectos Monclova and formerly a curator of the Carrillo Gil Museum and director of Galería OMR (both in Mexico City)
