I do like this series, and have decided to read a bunch of 'em, since my library has them and they are short. I'm reserving the fourth star for the most special ones, but even the three star ones are worthwhile.
I hate fibbing, too, Mary, and agree it can make one feel sick.

This is a short story for young readers with simple illustrations. The illustrations aren't terribly exciting but at a little to catch the eye of a young reader. This particular story about Harry is about his "fibbing" habit. However, when he and his friends track mud into the classroom he tells a fib about mud gremlins. His friends become so overwhelmed with guilt that they admit that Harry was lying. Harry may appeal to young readers because he's "naughty" and has that entertainment value to his antics. The book ends with a moral about lying and all ends well.
