Life on a college campus for a husband and wife who don't seem satisfied with each other or their way of life.

Much of the story is about wishing for things that the characters don't have.

Some good humor and what seems like a good description of the thoughts of college life. ( )

Into this unsettled situation comes one of Marshall's colleagues, trailing clouds of trouble - an infuriated wife, a student accusing him of rape. He sets off a chain of explosions that catapults Marshall and Sonja out of the semi-uncomfortable trajectory of their lives into a profound reexamination of their marriage and themselves.… (more)
