The monkey is on one island, the bananas are on another and there is a shark in the waters between them. Strong visual storytelling in this nearly wordless book will have kids laughing out loud, and aid help emerging readers
This vividly illustrated, nearly wordless picture book tells the story of a determined monkey’s attempt to get a banana. Unfortunately, the bananas are located on a small island across shark infested waters from the monkey. The monkey’s facial expressions are especially hilarious. This book is sure to be a hit with my students.
