The thing about Kristen Ashley's books is that you kind of know how the story is going to flow and that is going to be an awesome epilogue waiting for you at the end. Here both were true, but as usual, the plot twists turned this into an adventure to remember. I cried, laughed, wanted to throw a hissy fit and then I cried all over again. All of our beloved characters from previous books are here together and then there's Abel and Delilah, whom despite their biblical names, are two little devils. Spicy, hot and steamy, at times tender and a lot of the times completely adorable. It was a perfect ending to yet another perfect series by Kristen Ashley, who just turned out to be my very favorite author. Ever.

4 Solid Stars.

This one is my least favorite due to (hard to believe) an overabundance of sex scenes and....

1. Not enough depth nor intelligence for the main heroine Delilah. She really could have been so much more. But mostly she just wanted to bang Abel and never seemed to know how to do much else. The plus side of this is the sex scenes were pretty hot and steamy. The minus side is it became a bit mundane.

2. Talk about taking the long way show more around to get to your goal! There was so much unnecessary information in this one it just flat out annoyed me at times. It truly interfered with the flow and enjoyment of the story.

So why 4 stars?

The plot/story line was great.
Able was awesome & there were a lot of things I did like about Delilah.
Almost all the other characters in this one really shined. There were some great twist and turns. A lot of surprises that kept me intrigued.

Yuri! I loved him. I wish she would write a novella or something with him and his lady love in it. A grand adventure for them.

The section towards the end where Yuri and the witches are having a bonfire was hilarious!
This should have been a 5 star series all the way through. I liked it a lot. I am glad I read them all. But I was disappointed. It didn't really measure up to what I think of as Kristen Ashley's standards.

Bravo

What an ending. This book was packed with action. It was also packed with love and the greatest of messages. New characters, tons of answers, and even other characters getting their story told within this one.

I'm sad that this story is only three books. It could have gone on forever. I highly recommend this and wish that more people talked about it. It has all things that make KA amazing, feisty females, delicious men, a compelling story all set with a paranormal romance twist.
Lilah and Abel

I loved the Third Couple of "The Three" as much as the other couples, although I felt their relationship story was cut short by the lead up to war and the war itself. It would have been nice if they'd had a whole book for their story.

I'm not a fan of war stories, reading about it or even stories set against the backdrop of war. That's one of the reasons I read Romance. I won't hold this against Ms. Ashley; this series was building toward war back in the first book, it was my choice to continue.

After saying all that I still liked this Vampire and Werewolf world. Very interesting new vampire/werewolf traits.

And I'd love to read more about the witches, just without the war theme.
It dragged.... I liked the premise and was thrilled there is another book in the series.... but it dragged and the ending was rushed. All that buildup for 10 minutes fighting. Disappointing. It was a cool idea that it happened in her dream and reality at the same time.
Listened to audio narrated well by Erin Mallon, Abby Craden and Stella Bloom. The narration was good but sometimes the change to a different narrator felt abrupt. Abel is a werewolf, vampire and meets Delilah after she's attacked by werewolves and vampires. He recognizes she's the one he's been searching for and Delilah has also found what she had been missing for so long. Abel has never been around supernaturals and doesn't know a lot about what he is, believing himself a monster. The Three work together to try and save the world from 'The True', and learn about their abilities. This story is about all three couples plus a bonus couple Uri and Aurora.
Loved the entire series, so would have liked a bit more of an epilogue about all three couples.
