This is a dual text poetry book in which Paschkis provides the text of the poems in English and Spanish. The poems are each about a different animal, and are accompanied by beautiful illustrations of the animal the poem is about. These poems are great for introducing children to Spanish words as well as to poetry.

I liked the dark mixed with the light composition of the illustration in this book. I also liked that each poem was written in Spanish and English... I think that seeing each word helps to understand basic words in both languages
