Description
The startling conclusion to Gordon Korman's adventure trilogy.Aiden Falconer and FBI Agent Harris are closing in the people who kidnapped Aiden's sister, Meg. There's just one hitch: Meg is trying to escape from them on her own, and is never where she's supposed to be. As tension mounts and the net tightens, only one thing is clear: The kidnappers aren't going down without a fight. Before, it was Meg who was in trouble. Now both Meg and Aiden are in grave danger.

The title speaks for itself. 12 year old Meg continues her ordeal in part 3, this last book of the series. 'Good enough to make me willing to listen to the entire series (since each was only about 2 1/2 hours), but I'm not sure I'll backtrack to the previous 6 part series it kept referencing.

In the last book of the KIDNAPPED series, many things happen to the Falconer family. Meg has escaped and is trying to survive in the mountainous wilderness when a blizzard hits.
Aiden is with Agent Harris looking for Meg while Louise and John Falconer are living with Agent Mike Sorenson--a man who hasn't broken a rule or taken a chance in his whole FBI career. More and more answers are being found...but more and more questions are being asked.
Now everyone is in a remote area, frantically searching for answers, and trying to find Meg. Find out in THE RESCUE what happens--is Meg saved by the FBI and reunited with her family, or are the Falconers left with grief over the loss of never getting their show more daughter back?
I give this whole series a big two thumbs up! The roller coaster keeps you going until the very end. I've already told all of my friends that they have to get THE ABDUCTION, THE SEARCH, and THE RESCUE. I think you should definitely read this series if you like very thrilling books. It feels like you are actually there living it! show less

The ending was a bit abrupt for my taste. Some closure as to what happened to the "good" kidnapper would have been nice, as well.
Kidnapped the rescue is when Adian fines Meg and so do
the parents, but the kidnapper Mickey help Meg escape in
"The Serch" and now he is on the good guys side and the
other kidnappers arn't going down without a fight.
