The Journey by Chariss K. Walker

Katy once had the perfect life, until she met Chuck. He becomes possessive, abusive in every way possible. She knows what she must do, flee and get as far away from him as possible. But that will come at a price, her safety.

The story moves at a steady pace with well rounded characters and attention to details. Told with raw emotions, I could feel what Katy was going through. Overall I found The Journey to be a gripping, intense, emotionally charged read.
