Description

What are the keys to success? Scientists have studied the traits, beliefs, and practices of successful people in all walks of life. But the answers they find wind up in stuffy academic journals aimed at other scientists. The 100 Simple Secrets of Successful People takes the best and most important research results from over a thousand studies and spells out the key findings in ways we can all understand. Each entry contains advice based on those findings, a real life example of what to do or show more not to do, and a telling statistic based on scientific research. show less

This was a really great read and I very much enjoyed it. This book, like David Niven's other The 100 Simple Secrets of Books included a lot of good research and information relevant to the topic at hand. I learned a lot of things about successful people that I actually haven't read in other books of the same subject, which for me, is extremely rare because I have read so many. This is definitely worth the read for the extra bit of information contained within that will actually inspire and motivate you to work smarter to become more successful in a completely different way than you are likely working today. Very much recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the self help genre. Enjoy!
I quit reading this book after about the 8th chapter heading that didn't really fit with the explanation. Most of it was either common sense or something I've heard before. My time would be better spent reading John Maxwell.
