I really enjoyed this second book of the series. It focused a bit more on Blair's story in the Philippines.
At times I found her slightly frustrating in what she expected her husband to do for her as he had a job to do in the army. Overall though I enjoyed this one as much as the first. There is romance but it's not the main part of the story.

This is the second book I've read in this series and it is great! A good story set in WWII.
