This story continues of the three sisters as they are all in different parts of the world toward the last part of the war. Very exciting parts and I had a hard time putting the book down even though I've read it before. There is more violence in this book as people are tortured and put into prison camps. Nothing too graphic but sad to read.

I absolutely LOVE this series by Judith Pella. I had never read her before and I am very impressed with her writing. This series takes place during WWII. It follows three sisters in their different storylines. It is impossible not to get completely wrapped up in their stories. There is only one more book in the series and I know I will be sad to see it end.
