What the heck, I'll give this five stars since I enjoyed Secrets of the Sky even more than the first book in this series, Secrets of the Fog. This book focuses on the unforgetable Sparrow from SotF and her rocky path to love with her own hunky immortal Knight. Sparrow comes from a family of witches and is imbued with the power to transform into any bird tattooed onto her back. This comes in handy when saving the world from demon invasion, but at great personal cost. She finds herself torn between the two men/creatures who saved her from death. The subplot involving Sparrow's mother, Egret deftly weaves in and out of the main story line culminating in a can't put the book down page turning last sixty pages.

I love the world Shields show more created. I can't wait to read more from this author and given the world she created for the Secrets series, I suspect she has plenty more stories to share.
