I thought this was charming, a little penguin lists off all the things they like their grown up to do... read stories, dance, kiss goodnight, etc. Liam didn't take to it, maybe when he's a little older.
For the very young ones. Fun, expressive illustrations that seem simple but powerfully convey the sense of connection and love. Celebrates the small yet infinitely important ways kids connect with the caregivers they love.

Cute book where you get to hug and tickle your little one. Simple clear text that is good for infants and toddler. High contrast pictures.
The young penguin in this board book edition of Mary Murphy's perennial favorite likes holding hands, dancing, eating new things, reading, and having all sorts of fun with an affectionate and caring older penguin. Perfect for little ones--and for the ones they love!
This book is "okay" -- nothing special. I think it's better for a baby or 12 month old. At 15 months, it's not one of my daughter's favorites. It's a cute book, though. I wish we'd known about it earlier.
Bold contrasting colors and a lovely warm message of caring and sharing home space. Great read aloud for parent and child to enjoy, retelling , colors, affection and closes with bed time.
A penguin and her baby enjoy each others company when they hold hands, help eachother, eat new food, play hide and go seek, tickle eachother, dance, read stories, hug, splash water, give kisses goodnight, and tell eachother "I love you". A heartfelt book with some simple, but expressive pictures to go along with the storyline.
