Excellent. Who is Kate? What happened to her? Betrayal, danger, mystery, romance, told across a dual time period. I have read this book four times and loved it every time.
It was my 1st read of Brenda Joyce and I could hardly put it down. I really enjoyed it!
Jill Gallagher's fiance dies in her arms & says, "I love you, Kate." In tracking down the unknown Kate, Jill finds her fiance's wealthy family suspects her motives, and she stumbles on a ninety-year-old secret.
Very good suspense and mystery with a little romance thrown in
